Southern Solar Wānaka

Southern Solar is a Wānaka-based solar installation company founded by two long-term Upper Clutha locals with over 30 years of combined electrical and solar experience. SEANZ-approved, NZEIA members, and Mains Parallel Generation endorsed, the team specialises in the full scope of residential and rural solar design and installation across the district.

From ground-mount farm systems and off-grid high-country properties to architectural residential installs and new builds, Southern Solar has completed projects across Wānaka, Hāwea, Queenstown, Cromwell, Cardrona and beyond. Every system is designed around the specific site, usage, and seasonal conditions of Central Otago rather than a national average.
