Description

Classic Builders was established in 1996 to build quality new homes, delivered on time and on budget. Over twenty years on, the company is the second largest residential builder in New Zealand and sits within the Classic Group, a collective of companies that has the resource and capability to manage civil works, planning, property development, and commercial and residential construction.

It began in the Bay of Plenty with the company’s founding Directors, Peter Cooney and Matthew Lagerberg, working hard to build affordable yet high quality homes that every client enjoyed – homes that they themselves would be happy to live in. Since then they have been involved in every angle of project and development management from consulting, planning and regulatory assessment, to marketing, funding and valuation.

Now operating in seven regions, the company’s success can be attributed to their continued focus on delivering quality results, being accountable, establishing successful partnerships, and using technology to continue to improve in the areas of efficiency, service and delivery.

Understanding the significance of the decision to build a new home, the company created a client experience that is centered around care, collaboration, innovation and excellence. It’s called Classic Care and uses process, technology and communication to inform the client and every other person involved throughout the build of a new home.

The company’s purpose is Bringing dreams to life and as part of ensuring this is delivered, Classic Builders stays in touch with every client long after they move in. They check in with phone calls, send maintenance reminders and stand by their work with every home being guaranteed for 10 years.

The combined skillset of the Classic Group has led to the successful completion of many residential subdivisions, retail spaces, apartments, retirement villages, car parks, hospitality facilities, and commercial and mixed use developments.
