Macdonald Halligan Motors Limited established in 1938, is a Family Business and has over the years sold Humber, Sunbeam, DeSoto, Chrysler and more recently Mitsubishi and Subaru new vehicles. An associate company, La Marque European, also held the franchise for many European makes including Peugeot, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Citroen and Seat.

The company owns premium car sites in Greenlane which are leased to Armstrong Motor Group with Toyota, Citroen, Peugeot and DS Franchise Showrooms.

We are operating a Top Quality used car operation at 5 Kalmia St Ellerslie with a capacity of 80 cars, all carefully selected and checked before sale. We also import cars to customer order, delivery from Japan in about 5 weeks. Macdonald Halligan Motors has its own finance division and can instantly approve loans to qualifying customers at very competitive rates.
