Puzzling World is an iconic, unique and award-winning attraction that since 1973 has been fascinating people of all ages and nationalities keen to engage in a fun, challenging and sensory experience.

Encouraging problem solving, exercise and amusement we invented the modern maze format with over-bridges and underpasses to create the world’s first 3-D ‘Mega Maze’.

If your mind isn’t boggled, visiting the Illusion Rooms is sure to. From a huge collection of holograms, a room where famous faces seem to follow you, one where you appear to shrink or grow, another where objects glide uphill and a sun-filled gallery of illusionary sculptures, these incredible rooms are designed to challenge your reality!

Also boasting the popular Puzzle Centre, Think Tank Cafe, Gift Shop and wacky toilets (more photos!) along with the crazy building “follies” on the front lawn, we invite you to come and enjoy Wanaka’s wonderful world of weirdness!
