Whangarei A&P Society

The Whangarei Agricultural & Pastoral Society links urban and rural. We support the rural sector through promotion, motivation and education. Most known for our annual A&P Show at Barge Showgrounds, we do even more to achieve our mission, including: offering internships, scholarships and overseas exchanges to help young people into the rural sector.  We manage property throughout Northland, including the Masonic Villages and WDC pensioner housing and some commercial property.  We host and help organise many rural events, such as the Show and rural business network meetings, and you can book your own event, at Barge Showgrounds Events Centre - a venue perfect for weddings, corporate events, conferences and meetings.
