It's around 135 years since AWS Legal's forefathers first hung out the firm's shingle in Invercargill, creating what was, and continues to be, one of the city's premier practices.

From the very beginning, our Invercargill headquarters has drawn high-calibre legal minds, many of whom have gone on to hold leading roles, including judicial, political and coronial positions, as well as key business directorships and voluntary roles within our community.

Today, 45 lawyers and support staff work out of our Invercargill head office, offering trusted, seamless support across the specialties - be it private client, family, business, property, rural, criminal or dispute resolution - all under the one roof.

As well as catering for those who live in and around Invercargill, our city teams work closely with our satellite offices throughout the lower South Island, giving our regional clients ready access to the full suite of specialist legal skills.
